Donald C. Stanners

Prior to founding RedHawk Food Group, Inc., Mr. Stanners was previously a partner and co-founder of Insight Holdings, LLC; the Vice Chairman, director and CFO of The Farley’s & Sathers Candy Company, Inc.; and CFO and a director of Insight Pharmaceuticals Corporation. Mr. Stanners specializes in building consumer products companies though expanded distribution, brand extensions, organic growth and the timely acquisitions of complementary brands and operations. He also served as a principal at The Shansby Group, Managing Director at GE Capital and held senior positions at The Bank of America and Security Pacific National Bank. He graduated from Duke University and is currently a member of the Trinity Board of Visitors and the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Task Force at Duke.
WHO WE ARE
Julie has over twenty years of finance and accounting experience, with the last fifteen years focused on mergers & acquisitions advisory. She has advised on over 100 M&A transactions in the middle market across a variety of industries including consumer products, industrial manufacturing, distribution, logistics, software and professional sports enterprises. Her clients included private equity funds, privately held businesses and high net worth individuals. Julie was a Founding Partner of the Corporate Development Management Group, LLC, a Partner of Corporate Diligence Specialists, LLC, and an Associate with Harris Williams & Co. Julie holds a BS in Commerce from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.

Prior to founding Redhawk Food Group, Inc., Mr. Bauernfeind held a number of Marketing, Sales, Product Development and Supply Chain/Operations roles with leading CPG companies including Kimberly-Clark, Clorox, and Safeway, Inc. Mr. Bauernfeind specializes in bringing to market innovative products and solutions that are aligned with ever changing consumer trends. He has successfully developed CPG and Professional businesses via domestic and international expansion, brand licensing, and brand extensions into to new markets & channels. Mr. Bauernfeind was most recently responsible for the brand licensing initiatives at Safeway, Inc. He graduated from Pennsylvania State University and is currently Vice-President of the Danville d’Elegance Foundation.
